World Congress on ICT for Development 2009

CIC is the short name for “Standing Committee on Information and Communication” a committee of World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). The CIC works under the leadership of the WFEO.

The CIC’s duty is to dedicate to push forward the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to be widely applied globally, particularly in developing countries, for narrowing the gaps between them developing countries developed countries.

The headquarters or Secretariat of the CIC is affiliated to a national mechanism of a hosting country, from where the CIC Chairman comes.
